Wood and Iron Raised Garden Bed with Lower Shelf

Give a small patio its own planting area. This raised garden bed combines natural wood panels with a black iron frame, with a separate shelf beneath the planting box for empty pots and hand tools.

The planter stands about 29.3 inches high. Allow a footprint of at least 45 by 21 inches for the unit, plus working space around it. The supplier's specification table lists 44 by 20 inches; its dimension drawing shows 44.8 by 20.1 inches, so use the larger measurement when planning a tight space.

Watering and placement

The planting box has drainage holes. Place it on a level surface where water can drain without damaging the area below, and keep the drainage openings clear. The natural wood grain and knots remain visible. Soil, plants, decorative pots and tools shown in the photographs are not included.
