An open overhead trellis and two diamond-patterned side panels frame the seat of this fir wood arbor bench. The natural wood color carries through the slatted seat, backrest and pergola-style top, so the bench has a consistent appearance from every side.
Measure above the seat, too
The assembled arbor reaches 78 inches high and spans 63 inches across its top. Check that full height and width against nearby branches, awnings and roof edges before choosing a position. Overall height is measured to the top of the arbor; it is not a measurement of the opening above the seat.
The seat itself is 48.75 inches wide and 14.5 inches deep, with a seat height of 17.75 inches. Compare that relatively shallow seating area with a bench you already use. Leave room in front for your feet and for walking past.
